ACTION REQUESTED [16469] September 10, 2003 TO: INTERNATIONAL COMMITTEE No. 62-03 RE: ISSUES WITH OBTAINING VISAS FOR SHORT TERM BUSINESS VISITS AND INTRA- COMPANY TRANSFERS We understand that certain service industry firms are having difficulty in obtaining visas for short-term business visits to the United States and for intra-company transfers. In an effort to address these issues with the members of Congress and the Administration, the services industries are trying to provide concrete evidence of these problems. To this end, a form, a copy of which is attached, has been created for firms to provide information about their visa issues.
