| Print
[15941] April 24, 2003 TO: INTERNATIONAL OPERATIONS ADVISORY COMMITTEE No. 18-03 RE: CANCELLATION OF MAY 7TH MEETING We regret to inform you that the May 7, 2003 International Operations Advisory Committee (IOAC) meeting to be held at the Fairmont Southampton Princess, in Bermuda has been cancelled due to a limited number of expected attendees. Most of the committee members unable to attend have cited budget constraints for this particular meeting venue. The clearing and settlement organization presentations scheduled for the May 7th meeting (DTCC, Euroclear and Clearstream) have been rescheduled for the September 18, 2003 IOAC meeting to be held in Washington, D.C. In lieu of conducting a formal meeting on May 7th we have scheduled an informal lunch meeting for IOAC members who are in Bermuda, following the close of the IBA/ICI Globalisation Conference, where we plan to discuss current international operations issues and topics for future IOAC meetings. The IOAC lunch will be held in the Gardenia I meeting room at the Fairmont Southampton Princess from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. We will be contacting those members who planned to attend the May 7th meeting to confirm attendance for the IOAC lunch. If you have not confirmed your attendance for the May 7th meeting, and would like to attend the IOAC lunch, please contact Meghan Graves at the ICI (202-326-5852 or mgraves@ici.org). We are sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you. Please contact either of the undersigned if you have any questions or concerns. Ghassan Hakim Kathleen C. Joaquin Franklin Templeton Director – Transfer Agency Chair & International Operations International Operations Advisory Committee
