RE: AGENDAS FOR FEBRUARY 19 AND 20 TAX COMMITTEE MEETINGS
The next meetings of the Tax Committee will be held, as previously announced,1 on
Wednesday, February 19 at 2:00 p.m. (preceded by cookies and beverages) and Thursday,
February 20 at 9:30 a.m. (followed by lunch) in the David Silver Conference Room, on the 12th
floor of the Institute’s offices at 1401 H Street, NW, Washington, DC 20005.
Attached is another copy of the meeting response form for those members who plan to
attend either or both of these meetings and have not yet completed the form. All completed
meeting response forms should be faxed or e-mailed to the Institute’s Ezella Wynn (202/326-
5841 (fax) or ewynn@ici.org). You also may contact Ezella by telephone at 202/218-3560.
February 19 Meeting
The February 19 Tax Subcommittee meeting will involve a discussion of President
Bush’s dividend exclusion proposal,2 the President’s savings proposals3 and, time permitting,
considerations involving distressed debt. Materials regarding the dividend exclusion proposal
will be distributed in advance to everyone who has completed the meeting response form.
February 19 Dinner
Arrangements are being made for the Tax Committee dinner on February 19; we plan to
start dinner at approximately 5:30 p.m. at a nearby restaurant. Information will be send to
anyone who indicates on the meeting response form that they plan to attend the dinner.
