RE: CONFERENCE CALL TO DISCUSS DIVIDEND EXCLUSION PROPOSAL
As you know, last Tuesday, January 21st, the Treasury Department released a detailed
explanation of the President’s dividend exclusion proposal that differs in some respects from
earlier Treasury descriptions of the proposal.1 A conference call of the ICI's Tax Committee will
be held Wednesday, January 29th at 1:00 pm (EST) to discuss the proposal.
If you would like to participate in the call, please complete the attached response form
and fax it to Ezella Wynn by Wednesday, January 29th at 10:00 (EST).
