RE: AGENDAS FOR OCTOBER 15 AND 16 TAX COMMITTEE MEETINGS
The next meetings of the Tax Committee will be held, as previously announced,1 on
Tuesday, October 15 at 2:00 pm (preceded by cookies and sodas) and Wednesday, October 16 at
10:00 am (followed by lunch) in the Institute’s David Silver Conference Room, on the 12th floor
of our offices at 1401 H Street, NW, Washington, DC 20005.
October 15 and 16 Tax Committee Meetings
The October Tax Subcommittee meeting will involve (1) a consideration of various State
tax issues including a detailed update regarding recent developments in New Jersey and
Pennsylvania and (2) a discussion regarding the Institute’s comment letter on the proposed
PFIC regulations. Attached to this memorandum are the preliminary agendas for the
subcommittee meeting on October 15 and the Tax Committee meeting on October 16. Please
