You may recall that because of a fire last March, the Los
Angeles office of the California Department of Corporations was
temporarily relocated. Effective November 20, 1989, they will
move to their new permanent address at 3700 Wilshire Boulevard,
6th Floor, Los Angeles, California, 90010. As of the above date,
funds which have been transacting business with the Los Angeles
office should use that address, and if necessary, may telephone
at 213/736-2498.
On another subject, Mr. Kapes from the California
Department of Corporations suggested we remind our members that
unless a fund needs to apply for a waiver of the current expense
limitation in California, it is not necessary to file an expense
report. Nor is it necessary to file sales literature if a fund
has had no material change and is filing under Section 25111(d).
