RE: ANTI-MONEY LAUNDERING COMPLIANCE WORKSHOPS – MARK YOUR
CALENDAR
The Investment Company Institute has scheduled a series of Money Laundering
Compliance Workshops in two cities this fall. The first workshop will be held in Boston on
Wednesday, November 6, 2002. The second workshop will be held in San Francisco on Friday,
November 8, 2002.
These workshops will be designed to assist mutual funds' legal, compliance and
operations personnel in understanding the issues involved in implementing new SEC and
Treasury anti-money laundering regulations.
A preliminary program, including registration information, will be mailed in the next
several weeks. Registration for these workshops will be limited to 100 registrants in Boston and
60 in San Francisco, so it is important to register as early as possible. Only Institute committee
members or employees of Institute members may attend.
