RE: NOTICE OF CONFERENCE CALL -- WEDNESDAY, JULY 24, 2002
There will be a conference call on Wednesday, July 24, 2002 at 3:00 p.m. Eastern time to
discuss possible Institute comments on Treasury’s recently proposed rule relating to Section 326
of the USA PATRIOT Act. This rule would require all mutual funds, as part of their AML
programs, to establish, document and maintain a written customer identification program
(CIP).1
To participate in the call, you must pre-register with us by filling out the attached
response form and faxing it to Amanda Busick at 202-326-5841 by the close of business on
Tuesday, July 23rd.
