RE: SEPTEMBER 18 & 19, 2002 MEETING
The next meeting of the Technology Advisory Committee will take place on Wednesday
and Thursday, September 18 and 19, 2002 in the Executive Boardroom (920 Building, 4th Floor)
of Franklin Resources, Inc., One Franklin Parkway, San Mateo, California (650/312-2000 or
800/632-2350). The meeting will begin at 3:00 p.m. on September 18th with “shop talk”
discussion and conclude for the day at approximately 6:00 p.m. The meeting will continue on
September 19th at 8:00 a.m. and is scheduled to conclude at approximately 11:00 a.m. PLEASE
REMEMBER TO SUBMIT YOUR DISCUSSION TOPICS FOR “SHOP TALK”.
For your convenience, we have arranged for a block of rooms to be available for
Committee participants at an Association rate of $149 (until August 15, 2002) for a
single/double at the San Mateo Marriott for the evening of September 18th. The San Mateo
Marriott is located at 1770 South Amphlett Boulevard, San Mateo, California. To make a
reservation, please call the hotel at 650/653-6000 or 800/228-9290 and mention the ICI.
Reservations not cancelled 72 hours in advance will be charged for one night room and tax.
There will be a Committee dinner held on September 18th. The dinner will take place at
Gary Danko, which is located at 800 North Point at Hyde Street, San Francisco, California,
415/749-2060. A reception will begin at 6:30 p.m. and dinner will follow at 7:00 p.m.
Transportation to Gary Danko’s from Franklin Resources and back to the San Mateo Marriott
will be provided.
