RE: NOTICE OF MEETING -- MAY 22, 2002
The next meeting of the Broker/Dealer Advisory Committee will be held on May 22 at
the Washington Hilton Hotel and Towers in Washington, DC. We will begin at 9:00 am and
conclude by 3 pm. Lunch will be served at noon. The hotel is located at 1919 Connecticut
Avenue, NW. Business attire.
If you require overnight accommodations, please contact the reservations desk at the
Washington Hilton at 202/483-3000 or 800/Hiltons. The room rate is $199 for a single/double.
Please be sure to mention that you are attending an Investment Company Institute (ICI)
function. You must call no later than April 12 to secure this discounted room rate.
Reception and Dinner
On May 21, the BDAC pre-meeting event will be held at Strike Bethesda located in
Bethesda, MD. Strike Bethesda is a bowling alley with 34 lanes and full restaurant service. We
have reserved a block of lanes at Strike Bethesda for our group. Bowling shoes will be provided.
Transportation will depart from the Hilton at 6:30 pm. Return transportation will also be
provided. Strike Bethesda is approximately 15 minutes from the Hilton. For more information,

BDAC Walkers
On May 22, the BDAC Walkers will meet in the Terrace Level Lobby of the Washington
Hilton Hotel for a 30-minute walk. Don’t forget to bring your sneakers or a comfortable pair of
shoes and join us for a walk through upper Connecticut Avenue and Embassy Row. The walk
begins promptly at 7:00 am.
General Membership Meeting
If you are attending the General Membership Meeting, please let us know on the
attached response form and we will pick up your badges for you so that you do not have to
register for GMM. Badges will be handed out at the end of the BDAC meeting on May 22.
