RE: MAY 7, 2002 MEETING
The next meeting of the Technology Advisory Committee will take place on Tuesday,
May 7, 2002 in the David Silver Conference Room (12th Floor) of the Investment Company
Institute 1401 H Street, NW Washington, DC. The session will begin at 9:00AM with “shop talk”
discussion. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 10:00AM and conclude at approximately
3:00PM. Please complete the attached attendance sheet so that we may determine who will
attend the meeting. PLEASE REMEMBER TO SUBMIT YOUR DISCUSSION TOPICS FOR
“SHOP TALK”.
For your convenience, we have arranged for a block of rooms to be available for
Committee participants at an Association rate of $169 (until April 5, 2002) for a single/double at
the Capitol Hilton for the evening of May 6. The Capitol Hilton is located at 16th & K Streets,
NW. To make a reservation, please call the hotel at (202) 393-1000 or 1-800-445-8667 and
mention the ICI. Reservations not cancelled 72 hours in advance will be charged for one night
room and tax.
There will be a Committee dinner held on May 6. The dinner will take place at Olives,
which is located at 1600 K Street, NW. A reception will begin at 6:30PM and dinner will follow
at 7:00PM. The restaurant may be contacted at (202) 452-1866 and the attire is business casual.
All participants will be billed for their portion of the dinner up to a maximum of $60.
A preliminary agenda for the May meeting will be sent to your attention in April. If you
