FEBRUARY 13 AND 14 JOINT PENSION COMMITTEE AND PENSION OPERATIONS ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEETINGS IN WASHINGTON, DC

[14371] January 17, 2002 TO: PENSION COMMITTEE No. 2-02 PENSION OPERATIONS ADVISORY COMMITTEE No. 4-02 RE: FEBRUARY 13 AND 14 JOINT PENSION COMMITTEE AND PENSION OPERATIONS ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEETINGS IN WASHINGTON, DC The next joint meetings of the Pension Committee and the Pension Operations Advisory Committee will be held in Washington, DC on February 13 and 14, 2002, in the Institute’s David Silver Conference Room, on the 12th floor of our offices at 1401 H Street, NW, Washington, DC 20005. Subcommittee Meeting (February 13) and Committee Meeting (February 14) The subcommittee meeting will begin at 2:00 pm EST on Wednesday, February 13. We plan to discuss potential legislative and/or regulatory changes to the regime (including Title I of ERISA) governing the investment of retirement assets. Light refreshments (cookies and drinks) will be available immediately prior to the February 13 meeting. The Committee meeting will be held, beginning at 10:00 am EST, on the morning of February 14. Lunch will be available following the Committee meeting. Preliminary agendas will be distributed in advance of the meetings. February 13 Dinner An informal dinner for interested Committee members will be held at approximately 5:30 pm EST on Wednesday, February 13 at a close-by restaurant (to be determined). The cost of attending the Committee dinner will be divided among those attending. Final arrangements for the Committee dinner will be provided to those planning to attend. Next Committee Meetings The next regularly scheduled joint meetings of the Committees will be held in Washington DC on June 3 (in the afternoon) and 4 (in the morning), 2002.
