[14355] January 22, 2002 TO: SEC RULES COMMITTEE No. 8-02 RE: NOTICE OF MEETING -- FEBRUARY 26, 2002; NEW MEETING TIME AND TEST OF WEST COAST VIDEOCONFERENCING A meeting of the SEC Rules Committee has been scheduled for Tuesday, February 26th at the offices of the Investment Company Institute, 1401 H Street, N.W., Washington, D.C. The meeting will be held in the David Silver Conference Room on the 12th Floor at 1:30 p.m. Eastern time. Light refreshments (yogurt, cookies and drinks) will be available before the meeting. At this meeting, the Institute will be testing the use of videoconferencing to facilitate participation in the meeting by Institute members who are located in the western part of the country. Participation by videoconference will be available to Committee members at the offices of Pacific Investment Management Company (PIMCO), 800 Newport Center Drive, Newport Beach, CA, at 10:30 a.m. Pacific time, in the Plaza Conference Room on the first floor. Lunch will be served following the meeting in California. Please indicate on the attached response form whether you or an alternate will attend the meeting, either in Washington, D.C. or by videoconference from California.
