RE: ESTABLISHMENT OF CLOSED-END FUND DATA REPORTING SUBCOMMITTEE
As discussed at this week’s meeting of the Closed-End Investment Company
Committee, the Institute has determined to study the viability of more frequent reporting of
closed-end fund data. In particular, the Institute is considering discontinuing the current
annual collection of data relating to closed-end funds and replacing it with a quarterly
collection. In this regard, the Institute is establishing a subcommittee of the Closed-End
Investment Company Committee to assist in the formation of the new data report.
