[13987] September 27, 2001 TO: TRANSFER AGENT ADVISORY COMMITTEE No. 69-01 RE: OCTOBER 17-18, 2001 TRANSFER AGENT ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEETING AND 2002 MEETING SCHEDULE As a result of the tragic events of September 11, the Transfer Agent Advisory Committee meeting scheduled for October 17-18, 2001 at the Investment Company Institute in Washington, DC has been cancelled. The decision to cancel the meeting was based on feedback from committee members. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you. In lieu of the in person meeting, we will hold two conference calls, the first on October 17th from 3 to 5 p.m. to cover shop talk discussion items and committee projects, and the second on October 18th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. to cover an abbreviated agenda. Please email your shop talk discussion topics and agenda suggestions for the conference calls to Kathy Joaquin (kjoaquin@ici.org) no later than October 5th. A preliminary agenda and instructions for connecting to the calls will be forthcoming. Meeting materials will also be mailed to you prior to the conference calls. The 2002 Transfer Agent Advisory Committee meeting schedule is as follows: January TBD St. Petersburg, FL - Hosted by Bob Smith of Franklin Templeton April 16-17 Washington, DC July 17-18 Washington, DC October 9-10 Washington, DC Please mark your calendar for the 2002 meeting dates.
