RE: NOTICE OF MEETING - OCTOBER 30, 2001 AT 11:00 A.M.
A meeting of the SEC Rules Committee has been scheduled for Tuesday, October 30,
2001 at the offices of the Investment Company Institute, 1401 H Street, NW, Washington, D.C.
The meeting will be held in the David Silver Conference Room on the 12th floor at 11:00 a.m.
Eastern Time. Lunch will be served.
Due to the events of September 11th, Committee members who are not able to come to
this meeting will be allowed to participate by phone. Please indicate on the attached sheet
whether you or an alternate will be able to attend the meeting or participate by phone. In
addition, please provide any items that you would like to discuss at the meeting.
