SEC LAUNCHES INVESTMENT ADVISER PUBLIC DISCLOSURE WEBSITE

[13977] September 26, 2001 TO: INVESTMENT ADVISER MEMBERS No. 22-01 INVESTMENT ADVISER ASSOCIATE MEMBERS No. 14-01 SMALL FUNDS COMMITTEE No. 14-01 RE: SEC LAUNCHES INVESTMENT ADVISER PUBLIC DISCLOSURE WEBSITE The Securities and Exchange Commission and the North American Securities Administrators Association today announced the launch of its Investment Adviser Public Disclosure (IAPD) website. A copy of the SEC’s press release is attached. This website, www.adviserinfo.sec.gov, enables persons with access to the Internet to review free of charge the Form ADV, Uniform Application for Investment Adviser Registration, of any investment adviser that is registered with the SEC.* In addition, the IAPD includes information on those state-registered advisers that have filed a Form ADV with the Investment Adviser Registration Depository (IARD). A search may be conducted on the IAPD using the adviser’s name, SEC number, or its IARD or Central Registration Depository (CRD) number. Tamara K.
