RE: INTERNATIONAL FUNDS TASK FORCE MEETING

The Institute plans to hold a meeting of the International
Funds Task Force in Washington on September 12 at 10:00 a.m. (see
attached memo). The Task Force will be asked to discuss a number
of issues relating to internationalization, particularly with
respect to events in the European Community. Since many of these
issues go beyond the original scope of the Task Force (i.e.,
legal, operations, and tax) and relate to marketing and strategic
planning, I wanted to be sure you were aware of the meeting.
As the enclosed memo suggests, please let us know if you
plan to attend. Feel free to contact me if you have any
questions about the agenda.
