RE: NOTICE OF MEETING -- JUNE 27, 2001
There will be a meeting of the APS on Wednesday, June 27, 2001. The meeting will begin at 4:00
p.m. and will continue until approximately 6:00 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Institute
which is located at 1401 H Street, N.W. in Washington. The meeting will take place in the 11th
Floor Conference Room. Please complete and return the attached meeting response form (even if
you do not plan to attend) by June 15 to Agnes Thomas either by fax (202/326-8314) or return mail

Also, there will be a joint meeting of the Accounting/Treasurers Committee and the
Independent Accountants Advisory Group on Thursday, June 28 from 10:00 a.m. to
approximately 1:00 p.m. The Accounting/Treasurers Committee meeting will be held at the
Institute. A separate meeting notice for the Accounting/Treasurers Committee is being sent.
For your convenience, we have reserved a block of sleeping rooms at the Crowne Plaza
Hotel for the night of Wednesday, June 27 at the rate of $169. The Crowne Plaza Hotel is
located at 14th and K Streets, N.W. To make a reservation, please call the hotel at 202/682-0111
by Tuesday, May 29 and ask for a room in the ICI/Investment Company Institute block of
rooms.
