RE: NOTICE OF MEETING - OCTOBER 4 & 5, 1989

A meeting of the Board of Governors has been scheduled
for Thursday, October 5, 1989 at 10:00 a.m. The meeting will be
held at the Capital Hilton, 1001 16th Street, NW, Washington, DC
20036 (202) 393-1000.
A Board of Governors dinner is planned for Wednesday
evening, October 4, 1989. Cocktails will begin at 6:00 p.m. In
the lobby of the National Geographic Building with dinner to
follow at 7:00 p.m. in the ICI offices on the sixth floor.
A block of rooms has been reserved at the Capital Hilton.
Please call (202) 393-1000 and make your reservations as soon as
possible as the cut off date for reservations is September 21,
1989. Be sure and state that the rooms are reserved in the name
of the Investment Company Institute.
This is also advance notice that the winter Board of
Governors meeting will be held January 24-26, 1989 at The
Boulders in Carefree, Arizona.
Please indicate in the space provided below whether or not
you plan to attend the dinner and/or meeting and return the form
to the Institute.
