RE: ELECTRONIC COMMERCE ADVISORY COMMITTEE
Several years ago, the Institute formed a committee of members to consider legal and
regulatory issues related to the use of electronic commerce in the investment company industry.
A list of current members of the Electronic Commerce Advisory Committee is attached. We
plan to schedule a meeting of the committee in the near future to discuss, among other topics:
(1) whether there are legal or regulatory barriers that impede the ability of Institute members to
take advantage of electronic means of doing business; and (2) what actions the Institute might
take to help reduce or eliminate any such barriers. Before scheduling the meeting, we would
like to update the committee list.
If you would like to add a representative to the Electronic Commerce Advisory
Committee, or change the representative on the committee from your firm, please complete and
