RE: JANUARY 10th MEETING
A meeting of the Institute’s Fixed Income Advisory Committee has been scheduled for
Wednesday, January 10, 2001 at 2:00 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Institute’s offices on
the 12th floor, in the David Silver Conference Room.

The meeting will focus on a variety of topics relating to fixed income securities,
including disclosure and price transparency issues, the MSRB’s municipal market issues forum,
revisions to Article 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code, and possible actions to repeal certain
exemptions under Rule 15c2-12. If there are other items that you wish to discuss at the meeting,
please include them on your response form.
