RE: NOTICE OF MEETING OF SEC ADVISORY COMMITTEE ON MARKET
INFORMATION
The Securities and Exchange Commission announced that the second meeting of the
Advisory Committee on Market Information will be held on December 14, 2000 at the SEC’s
main offices, 450 Fifth Street, N.W., Washington, D.C. beginning at 1:00 p.m. The meeting will
be open to the public.
The Advisory Committee was established in July 2000 to examine issues in connection
with the public availability of market information and held its first meeting in October 2000.
The purpose of the December 14th meeting will be to discuss appropriate models for
consolidating and disseminating market information as well as other issues relating to the
availability of market information in the equities and options markets.
