[12806] October 30, 2000 TO: SEC RULES COMMITTEE No. 126-00 RE: SPECIAL MEETING TO BE HELD DURING THE 2000 SECURITIES LAW DEVELOPMENTS CONFERENCE As in the past, we have scheduled a meeting for members of the Institute’s SEC Rules Committee and several staff members from the SEC’s Division of Investment Management to discuss SEC issues on an informal basis. This meeting does not have an agenda and therefore will be held as a question and answer forum. The meeting will take place at the conference location (Renaissance Washington D.C. Hotel, 999 Ninth Street, NW) on Monday, December 4th from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. Due to the limited amount of space, this meeting is for members of the Institute’s SEC Rules Committee or an alternate who will be attending the conference.
