RE: OCTOBER 18 AND 19 TAX COMMITTEE MEETINGS
The next regularly scheduled meetings of the Tax Committee will be held on
Wednesday, October 18 and Thursday, October 19 in the Institute’s David Silver Conference
Room, on the 12th floor of the ICI’s offices at 1401 H Street, NW, Washington DC 20005.
Subcommittee Meeting (October 18) and Tax Committee Meeting (October 19)
As in the past, a subcommittee meeting will be held, beginning at 2 p.m., on the
afternoon of the first day (October 18). The purpose of the subcommittee meeting is to provide
the Tax Committee an opportunity for detailed discussion of an important, current issue (to be
determined). Light refreshments (cookies and drinks) will be available immediately prior to the
subcommittee meeting. The Tax Committee meeting will be held, beginning at 10:00 a.m., on
morning of the second day (October 19). Lunch will available following the Tax Committee
meeting.
Preliminary agendas for these meetings, including the topic for the subcommittee
meeting, will be distributed in advance. Please forward your suggestions for issues to be

October 18 Dinner
An informal dinner for interested Tax Committee members will be held at
approximately 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 18 at a close-by restaurant (to be determined).
As in the past, the cost of attending the Tax Committee dinner will be divided among those
attending.
2Meeting Response Form
If you plan to attend either or both of these meetings, please complete the attached
meeting response form and fax it to Ezella Wynn at 202/326-5841 by Friday, October 6. We will
advise those who return the meeting response form of the final arrangements for the October 18
dinner.
