RE: 2000 EQUITY MARKETS CONFERENCE – PRELIMINARY PROGRAM
As previously announced, the Investment Company Institute will hold an Equity Markets
Conference on Thursday, October 26, 2000, at the Sheraton New York Hotel & Towers, 811 Seventh
Avenue and 52nd Street, New York, NY. Enclosed is the preliminary program and a registration form.
The Conference will feature panels covering a variety of equity markets issues, including:
transparency, decimalization, market fragmentation, internalization, price/time priority, the role of ECNs,
and the globalization of the securities markets.
To register for the Conference, please return the registration form and the appropriate fee to the
Institute’s Conference Division as soon as possible. The registration deadline is October 12, 2000.
