As many of you know, in March, 1989, there was a fire in
the building in which the California Department of Corporations
Los Angeles office was located. According to the Department,
asbestos was released into the air during repairs and the staff
was forced to re-locate, leaving their files behind.
The Los Angeles office of the Department has temporarily
re-located. The new address is:

The new telephone numbers for the Los Angeles office are:

John R. Hayden - (213) 620-6531
Susan V. Wood - (213) 620-6536
The Department advises that all correspondence sent to the
Los Angeles office be addressed specifically to Ernest W. Kapes,
John R. Hayden or Susan V. Wood and that the document include the
name of the fund and file number, if known.
The addresses of the Sacramento and San Francisco offices
have not been changed.
