RE: JUNE 16 PENSION COMMITTEE MEETING SCHEDULED FOR DENVER

The next Pension Committee meeting has been scheduled for Friday, June 16, 2000 in Denver,
Colorado. The meeting will be held at The Westin Tabor Center from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. A
continental breakfast will be available from 8:30 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. Lunch will be served at 12:00 p.m.
The Westin Tabor Center is located in downtown Denver at 1672 Lawrence Street.
Reservations can be made by calling 1-800-228-3000 or 1-303-572-9100. A block of rooms is being held
at the rate of $149. To obtain this rate, you must identify yourself as being part of the Investment
Company Institute Group. Reservations must be made no later than Monday, May 15, 2000.
If you plan to attend the meeting, please complete the attached response form and fax it to
Melanie Washington at 202-326-5841 no later than Friday, May 26, 2000. We are exploring the
possibility of arranging an informal dinner for meeting attendees arriving the evening before the
meeting. Please indicate your interest in attending a dinner on the response form.
