RE: MAY 17 BROKER/DEALER ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEETING

The next meeting of the Broker/Dealer Advisory Committee will take place on Wednesday, May
17, 2000 in the Monroe Room situated on the concourse level of the Hilton Washington Hotel &
Towers located at 1919 Connecticut Ave., Washington, DC. The meeting will run from 10:00 AM to
2:00 PM with a continental breakfast and lunch served. The Institute’s General Membership Meeting
will be held at the Washington Hilton Hotel May 17 – 19. A preliminary conference program is
enclosed.
Committee Dinner
The committee dinner will be held on Tuesday, May 16, 2000 at Sam & Harry’s located at 1200
19th St. NW, (between M & N Streets, NW)Washington, DC. There will be a reception at 6:30 PM
followed by dinner at 7:00 PM. All participants will be billed for their portion of the dinner. Attire is
business casual.
Accommodations
We have reserved a block of rooms for the evening of May 16 at The Hotel Sofitel located at
1914 Connecticut Avenue, NW, Washington, DC. Please contact the Hotel Sofitel at 800-424-2464 or
202-797-2000 ext. 7151 and identify yourself as an Investment Company Institute (ICI) meeting attendee
to reserve a room. The room rates are $189.00 single and double and $249.00 for a suite. Please make
your reservations no later than April 16, 2000 to ensure that you receive the ICI rate.
