RE: NOTICE OF MEETING ON APRIL 6TH IN SAN FRANCISCO

The next meeting of the Compliance Advisory Committee is scheduled for Thursday, April 6th in
San Francisco. The meeting will be held at the offices of Capital Research and Management Company,
One Market Plaza, Steuart Tower, Suite 1800. The meeting will begin at 10:00 a.m., and lunch will be
served at the meeting. Please note that, as previously announced, the Institute will be holding a Portfolio
Compliance Workshop in San Francisco on Wednesday, April 5th.1 In addition, Committee members are
invited to attend a meeting of the California ’40 Acts Group on Friday, April 7th.
A draft agenda for the Compliance Advisory Committee meeting and further details about the
California ’40 Acts Group meeting will be provided when available. If there are particular issues you
would like to discuss at the Committee meeting, please list them on the attached response form, or
contact Frances Stadler at (202) 326-5822 (or by e-mail to frances@ici.org).
