RE: FEBRUARY 8 MEETING

A meeting of the Institute’s Fixed Income Advisory Committee has been scheduled for Tuesday,
February 8, 2000 at 10:00 a.m. The meeting will be held at the Institute’s offices, in the David Silver
Conference Room. Lunch will be served following the meeting.
The meeting will focus on a variety of issues relating to fixed income securities, including
disclosure and price transparency, the SEC’s recent municipal securities roundtable, the NASD’s
corporate bond transparency proposal and transmission of put notices for variable rate demand notes.
If there are other items that you wish to discuss at the meeting, please include them on your response
form.
