[11404] November 11, 1999 TO: SEC RULES COMMITTEE No. 95-99 RE: SPECIAL MEETING TO BE HELD DURING THE 1999 SECURITIES LAW DEVELOPMENTS CONFERENCE ________________________________________________________________________________ As in the past, we have scheduled a meeting for members of the Institute’s SEC Rules Committee and several staff members from the SEC’s Division of Investment Management during the 1999 Securities Law Developments Conference. The meeting will be held from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 9th at the Grand Hyatt Washington Hotel, 1000 H Street, NW, where the conference takes place. The purpose of this meeting is to provide an opportunity to discuss open issues on an informal basis. There will be no agenda, but instead an open forum for questions and answers. Because of space consideration, this meeting is limited to members of the Institute’s SEC Rules Committee or an alternate who will be attending the conference.
