Attached is a preliminary agenda for the International Committee Meeting on November 16,
1999, at 10:00 a.m. The meeting will be held in the Institute’s David Silver Conference Room, 1401 H
Street, NW, 12th Floor, Washington, DC. If you have not already done so, please use the attached
meeting response form to indicate whether you or a delegate will attend the meeting.
Meg Lundsager, the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Trade & Investment Policy at the
Department of Treasury, has agreed to speak to our committee about China's WTO accession and the
multilateral WTO services negotiations that begin later this month and will be continuing throughout
2000. This will provide an excellent opportunity to discuss the mutual fund industry's goals for the
upcoming negotiations with one of our primary trade negotiators.
