TASK FORCE ON ADVISER/DISTRIBUTOR TAX ISSUES
RE: POSTPONEMENT OF SEPTEMBER 28 MEETING

The meeting of the Tax Committee and the Task Force on Adviser/Distributor Tax
Issues, which was scheduled for Tuesday, September 28, 1999,1 has been postponed. We expect
to announce a new meeting date shortly and apologize for any inconvenience that this may
cause.
The draft submission regarding new fund costs, which was circulated last week,2 is
being revised to reflect comments received to date. We will circulate a revised draft of the
submission when we announce the rescheduled date for the meeting.
