RE: SEPTEMBER 15 TAX COMMITTEE MEETING IN SAN DIEGO

As we have previously announced,1 the next meeting of the Tax Committee will be held on
Wednesday, September 15, beginning at noon, at the Hyatt Regency San Diego Hotel.2 The last session
of the Institute’s 1999 Tax & Accounting Conference, which also is being held at the Hyatt Regency,
ends that day at 11:30 a.m.
The Tax Committee meeting will be held in the Regency Ballroom A&B. Lunch will be
available to Tax Committee members beginning at noon. The meeting will start promptly at 12:30 p.m.
We plan to conclude the meeting by 3:30 p.m.
Please note that the date and location of the Tax Committee meeting will not be printed in the
Conference brochure. If you need additional information on this meeting during the Conference, please
contact the ICI staff at the registration desk.
If you plan to attend the September 15 Tax Committee meeting, please complete the attached
response form and fax it to Trish Weems at 202-326-5841 by Wednesday, September 1. Preliminary
plans also are being made for activities/dinner on Wednesday evening for those members who will be
staying in San Diego overnight. A preliminary meeting agenda will be distributed prior to the
Conference.
