RE: PRELIMINARY CONFERENCE PROGRAM

In advance of tomorrow’s conference call to discuss the Institute’s Equity Markets Conference,
attached is a preliminary conference program listing some ideas for panels and a proposed conference
format. I am very interested in hearing other topics you would like panels to discuss and suggestions for
speakers for the various panels.
Please remember that there will be a meeting of the Equity Markets Advisory Committee at 3
p.m. on Monday, November 1 (the day before the conference), followed by a dinner for Committee
members and conference speakers.
