RE: NOTICE OF MEETING - JUNE 8TH

A meeting of the Investment Advisers Committee has been scheduled for Tuesday, June 8, 1999
at the offices of the Investment Company Institute, 1401 H Street, N.W., Washington, D.C. The
meeting will be held at 1:30 p.m. in the David Silver Conference Room on the 12th floor. Refreshments
will be served at the meeting.
Bob Plaze, the Associate Director of the SEC’s Division of Investment Management, has agreed
to attend the meeting to participate in an informal discussion of the SEC’s agenda with respect to
investment advisers. If there are particular issues you would like Bob to address, please list them below.
Please indicate in the space provided below whether you or an alternate plan to attend the
meeting. In addition, please provide on the form below any items that you would like the committee to
discuss at the meeting. We look forward to seeing you on the 8th.
