Newly added to this guide are easy-to-remember “Dos and Don’ts” for complying with the NASD’s rules for telemarketing, opening mutual fund accounts at financial institutions, complying with the Securities Industry Continuing Education Program, and using degrees and designations. The guide’s other key points for complying with SEC and NASD rules and regulations also have been updated. The Dos and Don’ts is a valuable reference guide for mutual fund sales, marketing and compliance professionals, including registered principals, brokers, financial planners, registered investment advisers, bank representatives, wholesalers, sales desk managers and registered telephone representatives.
