Tax Committee Meeting - Tuesday, October 6
The Tax Committee meeting has been scheduled for Tuesday, October 6, 1998 at 10:00 a.m. in
the David Silver Conference Room, which is located on the 12th floor of the Institute's offices at 1401
H Street, N.W., Washington, D.C. A luncheon will be served immediately following the Tax Committee
meeting.
Industry Capitalization Issues Meeting - Monday, October 5
The Tax Committee also will meet on Monday, October 5, at 2:00 p.m., with members of the
Adviser/Distributor Task Force, to discuss industry capitalization issues, including the costs of starting
up new funds and the treatment of commission payments to brokers upon the sale of "B" shares. This
meeting also will be held in the David Silver Conference Room, with lunch available before the meeting.
Please remember that space at the meetings is limited to members of the committee and/or the
task force or their alternates. To assist us in obtaining an accurate registration of attendees, please
indicate on the attached form if you or an alternate plan to attend the October 5 and/or October 6
meetings.
Agendas for the meetings, as well as information regarding a Tax Committee dinner that will be
held on October 5, will be distributed later.
