RE: DRAFT DIRECTORS CONFERENCE PROGRAM

We are in the process of organizing the program for the Directors Conference in October. We
have attached a draft program based largely on the recommendations of the Committee at the last
meeting and feedback we received at the Directors Forums in June. We have included a mix of panel
presentations and interactive sessions. The interactive sessions we offered during the Forums received
excellent reviews.
In the past, members of the Director Services Committee have been actively involved in the
Conference as speakers or discussion leaders. We will be contacting Committee members over the next
few weeks to request your participation in the program. If you have an interest in any of the program
topics and would like to volunteer as a speaker, please contact me. As always, we appreciate your
assistance in the Directors Conference.
We hope to send out a preliminary program for the Conference in the next two weeks. If you
have comments on the draft program, please call either me (202-326-5813) or Frances Stadler (202-326-
5822) by Friday, July 24. In addition, if you have thoughts as to speakers for the various sessions, we
welcome your recommendations.
