Enclosed is your copy of the Institute's 1989 Guide to Mutual
Funds. In addition to giving investors a broad overview of how
mutual funds operate, the Guide lists over 2,700 open-end
investment companies by investment objective and provides the
address, phone number, assets, and other information for each
fund. The list includes companies that were Institute members as
of December 15, 1988.
