RE: NEW COMMITTEE ASSIGNMENTS

You may recall that we had previously discussed the
advisability of having representatives of unit investment trusts
on other ICI standing committees. In this regard, Bob Holley has
informed me that the following unit investment trust members will
sit on the indicated ICI committees:
Norman Schvey - Federal Legislation Committee
John Van Heuvelen - State Liaison Committee
Scott Martin - SEC Rules Committee
Craig S. Tyle
Assistant General Counsel
