Security Valuation Advisory Subcommittee
The Security Valuation Advisory Subcommittee (SVAS) provides strategic direction and oversight for initiatives related to mutual fund security valuation. It supports modernization, regulatory compliance, and industry improvements in alignment with the work of the Security Valuation Operations Committee (SVOC).

- SEC and FASB security valuation regulations under the Investment Company Act of 1940 and ASC 820/ASC 946.
- Operational matters related to security valuation and pricing vendors and due diligence.
- PCAOB audit standards related to security valuation.
Subcommittee Meetings
The SVAS holds two in-person meetings annually and may schedule virtual meetings as required by emerging issues.
Membership Information
The SVAS is an invitation-only subcommittee. Each member firm may have up to 1 representative on the SVAS. Nonmembers may participate on the committee at the staff coordinator’s discretion.
