ESG Advisory Group
The ESG Advisory Group consists of firms represented on the ICI Board of Governors. Members actively contribute to identifying and reviewing ESG-related issues of fund industry-wide concern and work towards developing potential solutions through creation of industry publications, and recommendations to regulators, regulatory advisory committees, legislators, and others as appropriate.
Key Issues of Interest
Review and refinement of fund terminology to describe ESG investing, discussion of US regulatory developments related to ESG related disclosure, for public companies and funds. Review and discussion of public company and fund use of climate-related risk metrics.
Advisory Group Meetings
The ESG Advisory Group meetings are held virtually each month.
Membership Information
The ESG Advisory Group is open to firms represented on the ICI Board of Governors. Each member firm may have up to two representatives on the ESG Advisory Group in addition to the ICI Board member from the firm.
