The Alternative Closed-End Fund Working Group provides a forum to raise, discuss, and address legal and operational issues related to interval funds, tender offer funds, and business development companies.

Working Group Meetings

The Alternative Closed-End Working Group holds at least three virtual meetings per year. The working group may hold additional meetings and/or conference calls as issues arise.

Colleague Access

Colleague Access gives working group representatives the ability to designate co-workers (i.e., non‑working group members) to view working group memos and materials online, receive notification of memos addressed to the working group via ICI Digest and participate in working group calls and meetings.

As the working group may deal with confidential policy topics involving draft comment letters and conference calls, ICI limits the number of colleagues per firm who can be designated for Colleague Access. Only working group representatives (not alternates or substitutes) can activate Colleague Access, and colleagues must be employed by the working group member’s firm.

Alternative Closed-End Fund Working Group representatives may designate a total of five individuals for colleague access.
