ICI’s reputation for research and analysis has caught the attention of a national communique for corporate and association leaders. CEO Update recently asked Institute President and CEO Paul Schott Stevens to explain ICI’s commitment to economic data collection and analysis, and the advantages it offers in the dialogue with regulators.
Paul Schott Stevens, ICI President and CEO: I would say we do two things. We bring information to the table and we provide an informed industry perspective, and the information is really the bedrock of it all. So, when I go into a congressional hearing, if I’ve got command of the facts that the other witnesses or the committee does not have, I am in a much more advantageous place to engage in the dialogue.
