London; 23 May 2019—The Investment Company Institute (ICI) announced that Anna Driggs has been named director and associate chief counsel, global funds policy, based in ICI Global’s London office.
Driggs has served on ICI’s global team for most of her 12-year career at the Institute, most recently as associate chief counsel, global retirement policy, based in ICI’s headquarters in Washington, DC. Driggs will continue her engagement on retirement savings and work on a variety of other policy concerns, including the European Union’s Capital Markets Union and sustainable finance. She takes up the position on 28 May.
“Anna is the ideal person to deepen our engagement with European Union financial policymakers,” said ICI Global Managing Director Patrice Berge-Vincent. “Her international viewpoint and strong understanding of the European Union through work on the pan-European personal pension product will inform our work on behalf of global funds, their managers, and investors.”
Before joining the Institute in 2007, Driggs worked in private practice. She has an EMBA from Oxford Saїd Business School; a JD, with honors, from the University of Washington School of Law; and a BA, magna cum laude, from Gonzaga University. She also studied at the Linguistical University in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia.
