Deep Dive Resources

During the COVID pandemic, which started in 2020, it was impossible for members to meet in person.  To ensure ICI stayed in touch with Committee members and provided them the content they would have received via Institute events, we started holding “Deep Dive” sessions for Committee members.  In substance these Deep Dive sessions were comparable to a conference panel.  They consisted of a panel of members, outside consultants, and/or outside counsel who discussed a topic of interest to members in details.  In addition to inviting Committee members to these sessions, we encouraged members to invite to them any of their internal colleagues who may be interested in the topic.  Because the sessions were held via virtual platforms, they were more interactive than in-person conferences since they provided members the opportunity to raise their hands or communicate via the “chat” function to ask questions or add comments to the discussion.  Using the virtual platforms for these sessions enabled ICI to provide members the content they were interested in a 60-120 minute session the member could join from their home or office computer without the need to spend time and resources attending an in-person event.  

A slide deck was used to supplement the discussion during each of these sessions.  In addition to providing informative slides of the subject matter, these decks identified the presenters and included their contact information so members could contact them following the session.  Due to the value of these slide decks to members, we have added them to this Resource Center as a resource for members.  The slide decks are listed below in chronological order starting with the most recent.  We received such favorable feedback on these sessions that, post-pandemic, we will continue sponsoring them on those topics of interest to members. Accordingly, as we hold additional Deep Dive sessions in the future, we will add the decks from those sessions to this compilation.  We hope you find these to be of value!
