Donald C. Auerbach is the Chief Operating Officer of the Investment Company Institute. He leads member engagement and recruiting, directs financial planning, and coordinates internal teams to support the broader organization in executing ICI’s mission. Prior to becoming COO, he was Co-Head of the Institute’s Government Affairs team. Auerbach joined ICI after serving on the staff of the US House of Representatives, Committee on Financial Services. Prior to Capitol Hill, he was a staff member at Federal Financial Analytics, a Washington consultancy. He is a graduate of UCLA, American University law school, and has an MBA from the University of Virginia’s Darden School.
