Joint Comment Letter on Request to Extend Review of FINRA Securities Loan Reporting and Dissemination Proposal

The Investment Company Institute, the Canadian Securities Lending Association, the International Securities Lending Association, the Securities Lending Council of the Risk Management Association, the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA), and SIFMA’s Asset Management Group have submitted a joint letter to request that the Securities and Exchange Commission provide additional time for review of, and public comment on, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority’s proposed rules that would require reporting of securities loans and provide for the public dissemination of securities loan information.
